Andrushivka, Vinnytsia oblast. (father
/ mother) Ivan was doing his university studies in Crimea in June 1941 when WW II came to the Soviet union. He went to the Soviet army as a volonteer in the summer of 1941.
He was a professor in geography at Kyiv State University. He was married to Nina Hryhorivna Nazarenko. Ivan has written several books in geography such as “Solnechnyj Krym” (1976) and “Chernoje More” (=The Black Sea).
Children: Natalja, d. 2002 i Kyiv. She had been married to Oleksandr Holub. They had a son named Andrij Holub. He is married to Irina and they have one son: Pavlo, b. 2002. They all live in Kyiv. Andrij, b. February 25, 1959. He is a general director for Ital Technology Group in Kyiv. He and his wife Larisa live in Kyiv.
